In a reality where speed is money, Vetaphone swims against the tide and launches Vetaphone Corona Plus VE1AC series, our slowest corona treater ever.
Speed is money. So is the reality of our industry where the huge presses spew out over 600 meters of finished film every minute – and where we all constantly push the envelope to squeeze just a few extra centimetres out of every operating minute.
Now Vetaphone is extending the assortment of Corona treaters. Our new Vetaphone Corona Plus VE1AC is created with the sole purpose of being slow. Slow enough to be just perfect for silkscreen prints and other quality prints that require a careful process.
Full adhesiveness and no damage
With the voltage and discharge optimized for slow speeds, Vetaphone’s Corona Plus VE1AC offers you full adhesiveness, and no risk of damaging the substrate.
Based on our well-known and fully proven Corona Plus technology, Vetaphone’s Corona Plus VE1AC offers you a solid, robust and compact solution with a minimum of maintenance and a record of virtually no break downs.
Mounted directly in-line, Vetaphone’s Corona Plus VE1AC slides seamlessly in your production line, while our quick-change cartridge system enables you to change the electrode cartridge in a matter of seconds – and carry out all maintenance offline.

Average lifespan: 10 years+
The ceramic electrodes handle up to 4000 watts, sufficient to treat almost any type of substrate, both electrical conductive substrates such as metallised films, and non-conductive film. An easy upgrade will boost your station from four ceramic electrodes to six highly efficient ceramic electrodes, which should take care of even the most difficult substrates.
And did you know, by the way, that the average lifespan of Vetaphone’s Corona Plus treaters is a little above ten years? Quite an age in an industry that is ever changing…
