[intro] The new, robust VE1C Corona-Plus treater from Vetaphone fits all production lines and can be mounted anywhere. It requires a minimum of space – and is easily upgraded to meet future needs.[/intro]
Delivered pre-wired and pre-assembled, and requiring only a small slot in your production line, the new VE1C Corona-Plus treater from Vetaphone seems like the obvious choice for any OEM looking for leaner processes. But the plug and play feature is really just an add-on, compared to the value it provides to manufacturers:
“Sturdiness and durability has been our primary goal for decades. By identifying weak spots and dealing with them, by minimising the number of moving parts, and by making easy access to cleaning and maintenance, Vetaphone’s corona treaters are now the most robust on the market,” states Mr. Jan Eisby, Sales Director at Vetaphone. He continues:
“During the past years we even developed our High Humidity Resistance, which enables our Corona-Plus treaters to operate flawlessly in highly humid areas due to strict use of high quality insulators and optimum airflow extraction. Our promise is this: Comply to our maintenance schedule, and you will one day replace your Vetaphone Corona-Plus treater, not because it broke, but because it lasted long enough to be outpaced by the development,” Mr Eisby determines.
Just upgrade
That the corona treaters from Vetaphone last long enough to be outpaced by the development has over the years developed into a somewhat widespread “problem” among Vetaphone’s clients – and thus become the next issue for the Danish engineers to deal with. The result is the upgradeable Corona-Plus treater.
“The VE1C series are designed with an upgradeable option. If you encounter “difficult-to-treat” materials, or need to increase the speed on the converting line, the VE1C can be upgraded with an extra electrode hood at any time. Now you can make the investment just when you need the functionality, instead of having to plan ahead,” explains Mr. Eisby.
Needles to say, all Vetaphone corona stations are plasma ready – to meet any future atmospheric gas speciality production needs.
Extremely easy maintenance
The strongest reason, however, to choose Vetaphone next time, is the patented Quick Change system. Designed to make maintenance quick and easy while minimising down time, it has since proved to add a unique flexibility to the system.
“Our Quick Change system is meant to make cleaning and maintaining the electrodes extremely quick and easy. The electrodes are placed in a cartridge, which is easily pulled out and replaced by a similar cartridge, while you comfortably do your maintenance off line. But this also means that you just as easily can replace the electrodes to match for instance varying thicknesses. Or you can replace them with a plasma module,” says Mr. Eisby.
With cleaning and maintenance being this easy it shouldn’t be hard for any manufacturer to comply to Vetaphone’s recommended schedule – and reap the fruits of investing in robust equipment that lasts to be outpaced by the development.
