Auckland based Nekkorb Solutions has been appointed as the new sales and service agent for Vetaphone surface treatment technology in Australasia. The company, which was established in 2009 by owner Frank Brokken, has a well-proven record in capital equipment and supplies for the graphic arts industry with a portfolio of market-leading brands, and is ideally suited to serve the trans-Tasman market.
Frank Brokken, who has more than 45 years’ experience in the package print sector of the industry, sees Vetaphone as a high-quality manufacturer that will add significant sales potential to his company, at a time when converters are embracing new technologies in a highly competitive marketplace. “Demand is changing fast, and we need to offer equipment that meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations of reliability and production efficiency. As the company that invented corona and continues to pioneer surface treatment, there is no better brand we could offer to the market than Vetaphone.”
With an eye to the future, Brokken already has daughter Natasha (Tash) lined up to take over the business and ensure continuity for customers when the time comes, and both know the value of engaging closely with suppliers and customers. “We’re a family business and so is Vetaphone, and there is an obvious synergy between the two that will benefit our mutual customers. We are really excited about the future,” she said.
Responding for Vetaphone, Sales Manager for Asia-Pacific, Holger Selenka commented: “We are impressed with Nekkorb’s existing list of manufacturers, many of which dovetail well with our technology in other parts of the world. We know Frank and his team have high expectations for building the Vetaphone brand in Australasia and we look forward to giving them all the support they need.”
